I feel so insecure now being pregnant... and I get so anxious that when this is all over I'll never be skinny again. I can't imagine my stomach going back down to my normal size... I mean... it stretches so much!!!

Is anyone else anxious about this? Did you get back in shape afterward?

Lol...That was a big worry for me as well! but the answer is YES you will get skinny after you have your baby, i had 3 kids and I'm even smaller then what i was before i had any! i was 125 before i started having kids and I'm now 107..so dont believe you will stay big forever!...its not true! It takes a while for your hips to come back together but all you need to do is eat right and exercise a little bit~Dont even have to exercise really, lol..i hardly did but it does help and makes you feel better to!...its unbelievable how much your tummy stretches, but it does go down!...:) so dont worry!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Get Skinny Again

I've wondered that myself. I am 35 weeks and getting closer. I've only gained 17 lbs though so I don't think I'll have much of a problem.
I say if you eat healthy, excercise and breastfeed you can get your body back in no time.
Remember it takes a full year for everything to get back to how it was before.
Good luck.

i am 28 weeks and very anxious about the same thing. The bright side for me is that I am still young so my body should bounce back rather quickly. Some things I will do once the baby comes is breastfeed (burns calories) eat healthy (good for baby and me) and a lot of exercise... for now though i am eating as well and am walking. Here in the next couple of weekas though I plan to begin a more serious walking scvhedual to prepare for labor... but i think all othese will help me get my body back- I miss it so much!

For now though, just think about the baby in your belly, not your belly itself. Good luck and congradulations

You will get thinner. Don't count on your belly being as tight and flat as before though. It depends on how elastic your skin is. During pregnancy, your abdominal skin may stretch past it's elasticity and then be more loose than before you were pregnant. If you breastfeed you are more likely to burn the fat you have accumulated, but keep in mind that your body still must have extra fat stores to support milk production. I actually weigh less than I did before I got pregnant, but my stomach just doesn't have that same look. I did go down a pants size though.

I know exactly what you mean. I gained 40 pounds with my daughter and it was all in my belly and I am only 5 foot so I was huge. I had to have a c-section, it took me 6 months to get back to the size I was. And after that I kept losing weight and was skinnier than before I got pregnant.

Don't worry you will be skinny again, for some people it takes a bit of time but I am sure it will happen.

Do you forget the celebrity moms, who work out like nuts after the baby so they can get fit again? It's easily doable, lots of women have done it so can you.

Honey, hate to tell you this but it will never be "exactly" the same...Your membership card and t-shirt are in the mail...

But hopefully you won't worry so much about silly things like that after your baby gets here.
