I think if he keeps this up he will be, and for all the many kobe haters who say he is a ballhog now, realize that he was getting tired of losing (8 straight) so he decided it was time he took over, and did it work, yes. If he had lost 8 straight with him shooting a lot he would of changed his game to a passing game!! he is a smart person and player and he knows how to win, he doesnt like to shoot alot (he's said it numerous times on interviews) but he has to in order to win.

Kobe doesn't like to shoot a lot? That has to me one of the funniest things I've read this week. Seriously, Kobe won't win the MVP because he is a detriment to his teammates. MVPs make the supporting cast into better players, not shells of their former selves.

o ya he just now decided to be a ball hog to help the team but every season til now he was just a ball hog to be a ball hog thats funny. there is no way he is mvp. if he was he would make the rest of his team better thus not scoring 60 pts but letting others score 30 pts. also they wouldnt be 7th or watever in the playoff hunt. also i thought this was funny i saw on another answer for a similar question were they said kobe is mvp cuz without him they lose. but in reality with him they lose to lol HE IS A BALL HOG AND WILL NEVER BE MVP.
