Okay I am happy now, i thought I was the only one who had a shopaholic wife. My missus started on Christmas cards in the January sales. By the summer holidays my trousers are getting creased cos the bottom of my wardrobe is full of presents. She figures that a bargain is worth buying any time of year and it saves us money. I am not so sure how come there is always some month left at the end of my money. Oh and as an afterthought her wardrobe is full of Easter eggs, I hope the big one's mine.

Believe it or not, yes. Right after Christmas, the sales were 75% off, so I bought some things to put away for Christmas, 2007. (Now if I can remember at holiday time where I stored them!)

Websites for clothing companies practically give away their stock as they must re-stock with spring and summer clothes. I bought a great wool coat that was originally $175 for only $87.50.

Target is a great place to buy decorations after the holiday...ornaments, wrapping paper, lights, etc.

My mother in law has!
Also, I tucked away a few things at the after-Christmas sales for next year, so I guess I have some shopping done.

It's never too early to start your Christmas shopping, according to Peter Kring...

Oh indeed! I found rather expensive toys at 75% discount. The toys will not disintegrate over time! Also some cut glass figurines are stashed away.
It is better than any interest I could earn from any bank account or investment.

yes
Every year I start in January because I have a big family and if not then not everyone gets something. Plus I find the best buys year round and when I am not rushed I can find the perfect something for everyone on my list.
