Build a ten foot wall and a 100 yard mine field around it on both sides. NO MORE ILLEGALS!!!!! Come here legally. It is the law. Learn English and stop crying about it. If I went south of the border to live I would learn to speak as much of the language as I could. And stop crying racism. Mexicans are not a race but a mix just like most people on this continent (I said most, not all).

Well, my honest answer, and some religious
zealot will either correct my answer or applaud
my answer.
My Mom(as opposed to family matriarch)
is a Bible scholar. We were talking about all
the laws that the United States has. She
said that the original 10 commandments
were the only ones that the Christians and
the Jewish faith were there to follow. I
think the jury is still out on that. But, assuming
that's true, I infer that the commandments
had to be continuously modified. So we
have to have millions of laws now or there
would be anarchy on a great scale because
of the size of our population. Trigger-happy
legislators troubleshoot all the problems,
instead of Smith and Wesson, e.g.
If you wonder what I'm babbling on about,
immigration laws are in place for a purpose.
If your spouse has either the green card
or was granted a U.S. citizenship, then
the immigration man cannot deport him.
Unless the system in Texas or California
or another state is being by maintained
by corrupt officials. Then you try to get
the FBI to help you.

I am a Native woman. I support immigration, even illegal immigration. I have done my research. I know the effects immigration has on our country and they are not bad. I also know our history. I know that most Mexicans have Indigenous roots. I know that Mexican and Native American indigenous roots don't stop at the border. I think you are right. We should stop this nonsense and treat everyone with respect. For this to happen though America needs to get educated!
If you want immigration information (that is pro immigration or at least contradicts the uneducated) then email me:

What are Americans going to do when the wall is built, illegal immigration is down and they realize that we still have problems? That we still have unemployment, that are hospitals and schools are still overburdened, that they still have to provide documents in more than one language, and that we have to eat all genetically engineered food because no one wants to go pick food all day.

I'm very happy for you that you have found Love, and I am very happy that your husband learned the language and supports our economy by paying taxes. Hopefully he respects and abides by this countries laws(at least the important ones). I've been misjudged in this forum as a hispanic hater, when in fact it is quite the opposite. I support any immigration when it is LEGAL immigration.
Our borders to the south need to be fortified, because their are too many illegals that do not pay taxes and ship most of their earnings out of this economy. Countries that are not landlocked to us don't have the ease of entering illegally because of the passport/visa system. We are being overburdened in our communities, school, hopitals and jails by people who do not help to fund those instituitions.
I agree that everyone should be treated equally regardless of any differences. I don't even think that we should deport anyone who is here illegaly, they should just be documented and taught the language so they can be part of this country.
*Adam LMAO..... I AM, "they are the best workers", that hurts... how much more sterotypical can ya get. I've never had any other worker on a jobsite telling ME what to do. Most work hard, granted, but BEST workers. I've seen white, black and brown people sit on their a***** when the boss looks the other way. Not I, I am a hurricane from 7-3, work circles around any other ethnicity and my own. If you've ever been on construction sites you would see that certain people are usually better at certain jobs..... Hispanic and Czech do good masonry.... Italians and Irish are good carpenters.... there are strengths and weaknesses in all ethnicities. True that is sterotypical but one that seems valid so far as I have seen.

Hopefully your husband is legal. Many people work their butts off and pay taxes. He will be judged because he is Hispanic because of the majority if Illegals are Hispanic. Not his fault, but it will and does happen. We need a longer and bigger walls to keep the criminals out, and then deport all the illegal criminals that come in to our country.

In an ideal world with an unlimited budget....sure come on in! But that's not the world we live in. We need to take care of our own, but when there are so many immigrants using up our healthcare services we can't take care of our own. They bring down the income scale and most Americans don't qualify, but many immigrants do. All they have to do is have a baby in this country and then that child has healthcare paid for by our government. It's not right. Something has to be done. It has nothing to do with race and everthing to do with citizenship.

I'm with you on this. I also married a Hispanic. I think instead of borders we should be looking at one world, are we all not natives to this earth?
Where is Bob Marley when we need him? One World, One Love!
I live in colorado and there are some places that prefer to have Hispanics work for them because they are the best workers, hands down.
Oh I love my Mexican Man!!! :)

I agree that people should be treated with respect . . . until they prove themselves unworthy of it.
I'm all for immigration, but I'm against illegal immigration. Damn Canadians, always flooding us with hockey and . . . uh . . . snow.
