Most all drug screens for employment do not check for alcohol. The alcohol would normally be a low enough % from the night before, that it is a waste of money to check for a pre-employment screen every time but If you are hurt on the job or in an accident on the job & sent for a screen they will check for drugs & alcohol.

our drug screen tests do not look for alcohol content- they would do a BAC test for that. once your body metabolizes the alcohol it is not in your urine(drug screen).

You can, however I wouldn't go out and get hammered. You don't want alcohol to still be measurable in your bloodstream.
