I mean, it's a perfectly good Caribbean island,isn't it? It seems wasteful.

I couldn't agree more. Maybe when Castro finally croaks they'll do something worthwhile with that country.

Yes it would. Hemmingway spent a lot of time in Cuba. The tourist industry could bring that nation a lot of money.

Cuba already has a thriving Tourism industry, You just can't travel their directly if you are an American, you have to go to another country then fly in from that country

Yes, My dad is from Cuba. He hasn't been back in almost 50 years. It is my dream to go there with him and my kids.

I've been there 2 times and i am planning to spend every vacation there untill Castro dies. It is the heaven on earth...

I probably wouldn't go there; but it would be nice if people who wanted to visit were given the opportunity.

I've heard that it used to be a great vacation spot. I heard it was very beautiful. But now it's not.
