My wife is way too attention starved. I show her tons of attention, but she still allows men at work to flirt and make negative comments. She allows men to talk about what a MILF she is and say other crude things, but she thinks its funny and not a big deal. I tell her it is appropriate for these guys to talk to a married woman like that, it she says they are just kidding. The problem comes in where i do not want my daughter to allow men to talk to her like trash and i wonder what kind of influence her attitude will have on my children. I have already talked to her about it and it hasnt helped...whats next?

I was called a MILF once but that was by a 17 year old kid, grown men shouldn't be talking like that. You cant stop the way people talk to your wife if she allows it, nor your daughter. I do hope that your wife finds the self esteem within herself to not allow guys talking trash to her. At my work I'm a respected person and they all know that kind of talk is crossing the line and not tolerated, your wife obviously likes that kind of attention and there is nothing you can do to change that unfortunately. I hope that your daughter wont allow that either but you also cant control it.

My Mother is just like your wife. She has spent her entire life from the age of 14 being a skank. It is so embarrassing. Your wife is either cheating on you or getting ready to. Is she really THAT beautiful...or does she just come across as easy? Try counseling...but if she has a narcissistic personality, it won't do any good.
As far as the influence on you daughter...it is monumental. Your wife is teaching her that she is only worth what is in between her legs. She is a sex object...not a person.
I'm happy that you care about your daughter...you CAN prevent this...but it will probably lead to divorce.

I know what you mean. I let men say what they want to me but they give me respect when i have my son with me. She really needs to make them do the same. By at least saying watch your mouth my kid is around and that is really disrespectful. If she can't tell the difference in whats disrespectful then you have a big problem. I would put my kids in activties away from her, so they won't be hanging around her and men. Like modeling classes or proper manners for the real world. It might cost but its worth it at the end. And your kid will know whats polite for a man to say them and whats not.

It sounds like she has serious self esteem issues and cannot accept the love and attention you give her. I would suggest you seek counseling with her. She might be more willing to listen to a counselor to understand that she is negatively affecting her daughter by allowing crude treatment of herself. She obviously cannot separate good and bad attention and needs a professional to help her with this.

Doesn't it make you hate our gender, Knowing how little respect for married women most guys have. You must have a beautiful wife, unfortunately there are consequences to being with one so attractive such as this. I'm not saying you should have married someone ugly so you didn't have to deal with this. You have to remember people are shallow, and well, of lesser intelligence. Your wife should have more respect for you though i disagree with her rationalizing on the matter, however getting compliments it always nice as long as it doesn't go to far.

Your wife sounds like a skank and the apple never falls far from the tree, just make sure you get your daughter on birth control and some condoms before she gets an sti or often worse, knocked up!

Okay, reality check.
Is she flirting back? That's an issue.
Is she just putting up with comments and going along to get along? That's up to her.
The problem actually comes in because you're jealous, not because of this high-falutin' daughter thing. Sorry, I don't buy it. Admit you're jealous and that this really bugs you and maybe she'll honor that. Maybe she won't. But at least it will be honest.

If you alread talked to her about it tell her if she does not stop you will go to her work place and talk to the men she is talking to take action into your own hands.

you wife has an occasional fling. it only happens when a guy she finds extremely hot hits on her repeatedly. she gets off on it big time. don't take it personal. she's just needy and this is her way of getting "attention".
