If you could get the Democratic National Committee to be totally honest, you would find that there are more rich people registered as Democrats than as Republicans.

Consider how many multi-millionaire professional black athletes there are. By far, most are registered as Democrats.

Once upon a time...

Republican meant you wanted less overall government control and most of the governmental control should be State and local, not Federal. Major spending was for defense.

Democrat meant more Federal government. More governmental aid, more social programs, more government oversight of everything. Major spending was education and social programs.

I suppose at heart a lot of reigning republicans are simply capitalists (all they are interested in is money), which has given us the current problem.

obviously your father never owned hsi own business. i live in colorado where we currently have a dem controlled state congress, and since they took over they have caused over half of the privately owned bars and restaurants to either go out of business or pay huge fines just so they can stay in business. and this was done with one law. banning of smoking in a state with one of the highest percentages of smokers in the country. if you allow people to smoke in your bar you pay a 200$ fine. ir can even escalate to jail time. some are allowing patrons to smoke and taking collections at the door to pay the fines. most are just going out of business because they did not already have enclosed areas where people could take their drink outside and smoke. people started going to the ones that did and the others went under. i have been going to the same bar for about three years. it was like walking into cheers if cheers were one of the most popular bars in boston. used to be on a friday over a hundred people in the bar, saturday almost 200. now a busy friday is 40 and a busy saturday is 60. char will have to close the doors of a bar that has been in this town for almost 40 years because she doesnt have a patio. dems are pathetic and only care about themselves. if they paid any attention to the working man they would have seent he HUGE number of protesters outside the capitol building when they were working to pass the bill. they have stolen the lively hood of manhy friends of mine and even took one man i know out of a million dollar home and a beautiful car and put into bankruptcy trying to keep his once greatly profitable night club in business. it is no longer in business. and just 3 short years ago it was the hottest club in town and he was living large. now he is broke and couldnt even get a loan to buy a shoe box let alone start a new club or even buy a home. yea the dems do so much good for so many people. 70 people lost their jobs when he went out of business. he took out a second mortgage on his club and his home to continue paying his employees while he tried to keep the club afloat. he is a republican and since his people worked hard for him he worked hard for them. and the dems ruined his life for it.
