Contact your utility companies prior to moving, have them stop billing at your current address and change billing to your new address right before you move. Do not leave billing in your name at your old place or you will be responsible for that bill.

Could be either. With utility companies you need to tell them so that meters can be read so you do not end up paying for fuel used by the new occupier. You will not get billed until you have moved anyway but they obviously need your new address. In setting up your utilities at your new address you can add the amount owing from the old one to the new account or can settle it whichever you wish he only problem would be if you were changing supplier in the course of moving so you would have to settle the account in full.Non utility bills can just carry on as normal providing you give them your new address. When you say moving out I presume you are moving to other premises and not emigrating or going home to live with mum. If no new permanent address is forthcoming from you the companies will all wish to be paid in full.

Phone your utility companies and let them know what date you are moving and your new address then on the day you move read all meters and make a note of them. Also read the meters of your new home and make notes then ring utility companies and tell them what they are. Make sure you have your ref no to give them.

Unless you want to ruin your credit rating for the next decade to say nothing about running afoul of the law, you keep paying your bills, providing each company with change of address forms at least 6 weeks before your move. Also you have all your mail forwarded to your new address.........

hi,
you have to write them and let them know that you are moving out of one home and in to another. and you still have to pay those bill that you have made, if that bill is the utility bills then even if you cancel the bill if you are moving you must pay what ever is lapsing.

Take all your meter readings and ring up the utility companies let them know you are moving out and the meter readings and you will charged accordingly, you will only pay for what you have used.
