Whislt I understand this is great enjoyment to kids there is a time and a place for everything. Lots of places have signs up saying they are not permitted on their premises but without a person literally checking all feetwear going in they go unoticed. I am sorry, have children myself but parents allowing their children to do this aren't doing their children any favours, these are probably the same children who go crazy on them when their parents are not around. I saw a group of respectable looking girls about 11 yrs old causing real havoc and an elderly person getting hurt because of their antics. If you don't teach children where and when they can do things they don't know any better. With regard to wheelie trainers there are plenty of areas they can use them on. Most schools where I live have banned them. It's same as allowing children to drop litter, they have no values as they get older.

I'm fed up with kids in supermarkets full stop. The parents seem to have no control and make no attempt to control them either. No consideration for other people at all.
Still, with a bit of luck they will all break their little necks which should solve the problem.

As a parent whose daughter has them, it's up to the parents to control them. I see nothing wrong with a kid wearing them if they are still courteous to others while using them. As for the person who suggested to elbow the kid, I'd like to know how an adult saying that is better than the kid on wheelies.

i can understand when a really uncordinated kid like my cousin rolls and falls back on them, but if you are reasonably good at them like me, its the same thing as walking and u can stop anytime!!!! i disagree that they are dangerous unless the wrong person uses them. i could be going very fast and i have te ability to stop immediatly. its hard to heely outside becasue of little pebbles that get stuck in your wheels and make you fall. being an older kid, i think kids heely in the store because they have a greater chance of hurting themselves or others outside. they dont really pose a threat, and i think that kids should b alble to use them, they r only kids once!! if the entire U.S population of children mostly has them, then i would consider them to be a hazard, but if one or 2 kids, not even pass you in the store, let them go.

Some things are being done. Just the other day I did see a sign in my local grocery store stating those were not allowed.

Thank you, I thought I was the only one. I worked in a grocery store and at our busiest days when the store was crowded here were these little brats on those stupid wheel shoe things. They don't allow rollerblades or skateboards in the store, I don't know why they don't put up signs.

HAHAHA. I was just thinking about this yesterday when I almost got killed by a kid on those in a store. I hate them and they shouldn't be allowed to wear them. They are dangerous and a kid is gonna knock down an old lady or something. I want to kick whoevers *** invented them :)

You bet. The supermarkets fail to control the behaviour of problem customers, whether it is parking in disabled spaces, consuming food and not paying, loitering in entrances or allowing children to travel in baskets (Do you want dogs s8it transferred from their shoes to your food).
