Your gonna have to set up a box trap that will capture him alive. Then you will have to carefully relocate him far far away. Then you will have to seal up the means of ingress.

There are only three reasons he'd be under your trailer, food, water or shelter. Don't keep garbage bags under there. Look for a source of water, a leaking pipe or one just dripping condensation, and fix. Don't leave pet food outside. Skunks are dumb and one of the easiest animals to shoot, trap or poison. The biggest problem is getting rid of the stinking corpse before it rots. If you think skunk smells bad, try rotten skunk for new olfactory experience. My preferred method is to shoot the stinker downwind and leave him. Trapping whether leg hold spring trap or live trap is very easy, it's getting them out of the the trap that's a "mother". Again I shoot him, this time in the trap, which is designated a "skunk trap" forever. Here in small North Dakota communities without 'animal control' to call, we are allowed to shoot skunks inside city limits. Poisoning works well, but you never know where it's going to curl up and die (Like under your trailer !) So call 'animal control' in your area or have fun doing it yourself. RScott

I would call the wildlife officials or animal control people rather than doing it yourself. Too many wild animals these days can carry rabies, and you risk getting sprayed in the process when it comes to skunks. Professionals in that field have had training when it comes to handling wild animals, and they usually get rabies vaccinations as well.

Does your city provide cat traps? Our does, you put down a deposit of $20 and you get it back when it is returned. just take the skunk, cat, whatever else you catch to your local animal shelter. Hope this helps to solve your problem.

Call the local animal control or a pest trapping service. Maybe you can try some red fox urine or bear urine sold at hunting stores.
