Not really. Most important is what is 'the real thing' inside you as a human. Name has nothing to with who you really are as a good and happy person. I know so many people that have such a beautiful and fabulous name but they have no balance inside their soul at all. Their name is a shameful paradox from them due to their own wickedness and detestable manners. So now which one you prefer to have : a beautiful name? or a beautiful soul?

it obviously effects our lives but it can be a good thing and a bad thing 2.it depends on what do u think of Ur name.

Absolutely it does! I have read articles where men who had unusual names or spellings for their names were twice as likely to be in mental institutions or commit crimes.

It seems to be more of a negative affect on men than on women, to have an unusual name, or one that is considered kind of a wierd name.

yup..
like mine, before i get a master to change my name. i used to never success in whatever i do and so on...even hard to find a couple. Because master said my name is too lonely for me, so he give me new name.
Currently quite a lot of guy's friend..hehehe...

in no way what so ever unless you are named after someone famous or in famous that might make difference on first impressions. like your name was john hitler or susie cock that might be strange
