Both breeds come from the same linage, felines. Both can hear something sneaking anywhere. The strength of a lion is more than a tiger's, as a tiger may have a little more speed than a lion. That's to aid the tiger to flee the lion when the tiger gets swatted by a huge pawed right cross. Lion wins.
