i want to be a model when i graduate but my mom said that i have to start modeling when im 16 is this true

mm, im not really sure if i understand your question, but I'll try to help!
Well, you can pretty much start modelling at any age! It doesnt mean you'll get your "big break" when your like five and become a Gap model, but you can just start practicing whenever! You can look into a modelling class, I have a 13 and 11 year old friend and they are both doing a modelling course! They really love it because they get an idea of stuff you need to know for modelling such as make up and posing!
But, yah, it's best to start modelling soon, I think, just to get some experience! It will also help you to get modelling jobs cuz they sometimes ask for how much experience you've had and etc....

That is completely untrue. There are children that are 5-7 years old that are models. You can become a model at any age you want, you would just have to go to an agency to audition for a job. Good luck with that.

You can start modeling in local modeling shows or even find a local modeling agency for teens and pre-teens.
