You can't travel backward in time. If you want to travel forward, take a nap.

No.

It means breaking too many natural (physics) and spiritual laws.

Not only would a time machine have change the energy of time, it would also have to transport a human being within that energy. And with accuracy. And not make the person sick or kill them.

However, an interesting take on the concept would be to have a machine that could make people revert to happy (or unhappy memories). It would take into account brain waves and active memory centers of the brain.

How is this a chemistry question?

Time machines have been made for 1000's of years. Many are being made as you read this. Most people call them clocks and watches.

well , what i think is if one can travel faster than light then we can think that he has travelled faster then time thereby making people to think that he has travelled to the future when people on earth are in present. Thus it is the vehicle which moves very very fast which can be called time machine (if one is made) and not a machine inside a dark corner of a house like in movies.Yes if you think my way, it can be made.

time machines shouldn't be made and can't because of the space-time continuum issues. if we lived in multiple universes which some believe we do and we able to find the "worm-hole" to connect the two then we would suspend reality and time travel would become possible.

I think yes!

Time is an odd type of variable having only +ve values, all other variables can assume -ve value. May it be that some day, a process will be discovered to make time assume -ve values. So, time machines may be discovered sooner or later

Don't think so..... We were all meant to live when and where we are right now, not to relive the past or live our future lives until that time comes!

no...
for those who say yes...... why there are no people came to us from future.
if you want to go back in time to do something like to prevent someone from death then when u go back and save him/her from death it will affect the future and make him/her alive in the future and make u don't need to go back in time then no journey then no prevention from death and in the result A Paradox
