I'm not saying I agree with the idea. However, does anybody think it's possible? It might explain their interest. After all, why would aliens travel, or warp, or whatever, through thousands of light years to look at us? I don't think an alien race would find us that interesting.

No, they're Nibiruans, they came down to Earth some 450.000 years ago; here, they created a new species (us) in their labs, manipulating their own DNA and making it suit that of a two-legged species already existing on Earth; Nibiru (their planet) will be visible in the sky in 2012, when he'll appproach the Earth at the end of its 3661 years orbit around the Sun.

A very interesting theory but it poses a number of very unexpected problems.
If they were in the future they would have had to come from the past,which is where we are.
That means that we would have progressed to the future,invented a time machine and came back to now as UFOs and resorted to some speculative conduct.
It may require more in depth analysis to try to coax some rationality from the situation. Good luck on your quest.

If they are humans from the future than the it's a moot piont anyways. by the time humans gain the ability for time travel we will no longer be bound by earth itself. more importantly however we would no longer be human as we know it. Time travel just requires more energy and more of an understanding of physics than can be gained in even 10,000 years. I personally don't think it matters whether their humans from the futur or aliens, both are indications that, now or eventually, we are not alone.

Who knows, maybe the aliens are on a tour of the solar system and they stopped by earth to laugh at us. (They obviously have higher knoweldge in phyics/science)
But, Humans from distant future?? Humm.. But aren't all of us on the same page?

Not at all. Unless they have changed the laws of physics, there's no such thing as time travel.
