Recently I was driving between pubs with some of my mates on a day out. I was anxious to get to the next watering hole and so was probably traveling a little faster than is allowed by law when this woman decided to stop about 50 yards in front of me to avoid hitting a dog. I was turned around taking a cigarette of my mate in the back and passing him my mobile as the call was for him and so didn't see her until I had destroyed her car. I was pretty annoyed and me and my mates jumped out and gave her an earful. When the fire brigade finshed cutting her out of the car she threatened to report me to the police. My question therefore is, are women to sentimental to drive cars and should she have just run over the dog to avoid irritating me?

there are so many idiots on the roads these days, dogs come and go, and so do cars, i would have sped up before i hit her, it would have taught her a good lesson, something to think about in her hospital bed

Obviously the accident was your fault. You weren't paying attention. Also, you are supposed remain distant enough from the car in front of you so that you can react to sudden stops without risking a collision. In doesn't matter if the driver in front of you was a woman or a man. You had no right to yell at the driver in front of you when the cause of the accident was your fault to begin with. And to answer your original question...yes, it was road rage. I hope that next time you'll pay attention to the road, and not your friend, your cell phone, or your cigarette.

You were at fault for the whole thing. Your eyes should have been on the road the whole time, instead of worrying about where you were going to intoxicate yourself next. You think you did nothing wrong.....my advise...get yourself a lawyer, because your in for a real ride now:) And this time you will crash and burn.

It's a double edged sword technically your at fault fot speeding and following to close.

Maybe you should lighten up on the pubs and watch where you are going.

thats sort of funny, but you need to be paying attention, especially if you had 150 feet to realize what she was doing.
