About 3 days ago we noticed it. Constant pop ups. Threatening that we have spyware infection on our computer. I have tried everything to delete it and uninstall but it's next to impossible. I have visited a couple of websites but everyone wants you to download there product to get rid of it. Which in the end will probably cause the same problem. So if anyone has any ideas on how to delete/uninstall something that the computer is telling me doesn't exist I would appreciate any help!! Thanks!

Hi Nifermom2_2,

Yes, I had it. Adaware & Spybot won't remove it. SpySherrif is a rogue spyware removal program. It is installed without user notice and keeps popping up windows asking you to pay $30 to clean up other spyware. It also changes your desktop wallpaper to alert you that your computer has been infected with spyware.

Go here for removal instructions http://www.spyany.com/program/article_adw_rm_SpySherrif.html
