i knew vb. first of all if you r a beginner and you have any programming knowledge then please refer mastering vb .you didn't specify which version 6 or .net for both this writer is good. rest for any programming language practice is more important than theory so please try all example given in th book and there are also good pdf available please search pdfs on search engine and if you have any problem you can mail me to akash_iips@yahoo.com.best of luck
