It seems to me that if you are a minority you can get away with stereotyping. The most racist people I know are all minorities, and I dont think they even realise it. Most of thier conversations include things like "black people are ..........., and white people are........"

By the way I do realize that within this question lies some prejudice of my own. I am aware of that.

Forget all these "POLITICALLY CORRECT" people. "YES"!
They can refer to themselves as to whatever they want but you try and refer to them in the same street slang terminology and your a racist! I'm so very sick and tired of these rhetorical questions. They will never be fully answered to anyones standards. Racism is a part of everyones life! If you don't like spiders cause they frighten you that makes you a racist. If you hate snakes cause your freaked out by their reputation that makes you racist. Or could it be if you don't like other races you have a phobia like some people will say not liking spiders or snakes is? SO WHICH IS IT?? Get it through your thick skulls that we all have to co-exist and drop this racism crap forever.

No I believe that we all prejudge people, it is unfortunately evident no matter what the race, gender or social status, class or group.

It is understandable that it might seem that way because there are a few that take this prejudice to the next level by discriminating against others.

To sum up I think that we have our prejudgements for a variety of reasons. For me it is so I do not get hurt emotionally or physically by the negative harmful things that some people within the stereotypes commit. It's more a case of uncertainty and the perception that is portrays through the media and our own experiences.

There is such a term as reverse discrimination. But, we all stereotype. We all have tendency to rely on stereotypes from our experiences.

Then there are also potentially flammable remarks...that continue to feed issues of racism and prejudice, such as your commentary. You are correct, in that it isn't right for ANYONE to get away with derogatory racist remarks. But, I'm a minority....do you know which kind of minority I am? And, I have been ultimately discriminated exactly for the reason that I am a minority...not just once. And, without going through the system and spending time, money, and public scrutiny...there is hardly anything that I can do about it except express myself and directly and immediately criticize the individuals for their act.

I highly suggest that you try to look into diversity and obtain more understanding about your topic.

Prejudice is rampant among all races and all people. No race is excluded or more guilty of it. But to constantly point out what one race is doing over the other isn't helping to resolve the racial problems it's only prolonging it.

Is your point to help or fuel the problem?

I think that what minorities are is observant. After 100s of year of being oppressed what do you think they should be. You can't condition people by mistreating them and then not expect them to look for mistreatment always.

Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, everyone of every race, ethnic group, religion, etc., have prejudices. It's just that it is considered politically incorrect for whites to voice these prejudices.

Nonsense. It's probably equal, there is foolishness all over. The difference is that the other races are not putting people in ovens and burning crosses.

I think that regardless of race or ethnicity, anyone can be prejudice. One race/ethnicity is not more prejudicial than another.
