My cat is the coolest. Before we had him our apartment had a mice problem. My wife and I tried everything in the book and they just kept coming. I used to feed my cat's mom for the longest, she was a street cat, when she gave birth to three kittens I took him in and I have no regrets. Our mice problem has finally come to an end thanx to him. We don't even see droppings any more. He is also very affectionate and loving.

My favorite thing about my dogs (pit and min pin mix) would be that they're like my children. They are not dogs in their minds!
It's easy to read their faces, emotions, etc...They make me laugh, keep me company, and the pit has to have human contact at all times when we are home. She'll even lay at my feet while I'm doing dishes!
As for my little doby dog...she is unbelieveable!
I got her when she was 7 months old. My girlfriends best friends husband had committed suicide nearly 6 yrs ago now. My friend told me the couple had a dog that the wife no longer wanted, so I went to see her. The woman had moved out of the house and left this dog locked in the basement. When she opened the door, out came this little dog just sqealing and yipping, she was so happy to be out and around people. Needless to say she was in my car a few minutes later. She's amazing because she had been through so much, and now she's still a very loving dog. She even hugs and "asks" you to hold her like a baby.
Anyways, she had bald spots on her body in several places, when I asked the lady what it was she gave me 2 stories. First was she was born with a problem and it was taken care of. Second was she got into chemicals that burnt her. I called every vet in the area and this dog had never been to a vet. So when I took her to mine..he told me it was actual FIRE burns. One of her ears feels like melted over candle wax...it was that bad. For whatever happened to this little girl...she's an awesomely faithful friend.
My dogs are my family, period, and that's my favorite thing about them.

There unconditional Love. They do not judge, they are loyal. No matter what you do or even what you LOOK like its ok with them. They don't complain. They are always willing to please..And they like to have fun. Usually with animals in the home its pretty hard to forget how to laugh and play because they are so into it for you.

You hit the nail on the head. If people were like our pets there would be no wars or discord. Our pets, primarily dogs and cats, love us unconditionally. My favorite thing is when my dogs greet me when I come home, looking for a treat or just a pat on the head. They love to have their tummy rubbed also. My cats greet me as well, looking for their back rub and sweet talk; then they run to their food bowls as they know I am about to feed them. Animals in general are great and we are so fortunate to have them.

Their loyalty, their ability to make me feel better on my worst days, their funny antics, the fact that they are ALWAYS glad to see me. There is nothing in the world better than coming home after a long day and there they are, so excited and happy. And you are right they never let me down.

The best thing about my animals is they never pee or poop anywhere in the house or in the yard. They never chew or scratch the furniture and I never have a cold wind in the doggy door nor am I the designated doorman. You may correctly assume I have no animals.

My terrepine. I like her size now, because she's the biggest terrepine I've ever kept so far. I like the way she eats the cabbages and the way she always pops down in the water when I look over the aquarium.

my Rascal is a sweet little furry friend who has joined me and is like my little child. I know at the end of a long day that when I go home he will be waiting for me(still sleeping)put I know he is there. He listens to me when I talk to him and knows I am there to love and protect him. He also make me laugh when he takes his right front foot and raises it up in the air its like giving me a little high five.

I have 2 weiner doggies (maryjane and oscar) a rat, and 3 cats (hope, toby and gizmo) Toby and gizmo are the cutest damn kittens I've ever seen - theyre bengals. They love to play and do flips and sleep in the most awkward positons. It's really funny to see. My rat you can tell loves me.. she makes this scratchy noise which means their happy and she loves to dig. Maryjane and oscar are just goofy. They love to give kisses and it's hillarious to watch them play in the snow (most of the time you can barely see them!) Animals are awesome and they have so much to offer the world =]

It teaches me heaps of quality aspects in life. Words like patience and love in my insular animal's perspective world used to be in weakest form. But now, it has catapulted my stronghold to understand the greatest depths God's Creations. Animals are designed with purpose. If you have one, it is there to hone you out of something!
