turn your pop up blocker off... if it is the windows one go up to tools and make sure pop up blocker is disabled.

Holding your cntrl button only should make it so that the game site is not blocked...
orrr
you can go into your pop up blocker program and I am sure there is an area that you can type in "allowed" sites and just put the gaming website address in there.

the game site you're visiting might not be a "safe" one, that's why pop-up blocker won't let you open it... otherwise, if you're sure abt the site and you really want to go to it, then turn your pop-up blocker off...

click the tools menu and go to pop-up blocker and click turn off pop-up blocker.

You can also temporarily allow them to turn off the blockers by allowing them to unblock that site for the time you are on there, then once you are done remember to turn it back on. =)
