the cyber X theory,a question to all gamers?

to cut a long story short,is it true if you play a game over and over again with someone that is so out of your league that he'll beat you everytime make you better?and for your info the game i am revering to is dota.....
oh yeah one more thing,does anybody know where i can download an AI version of dota 6.42???

i thing 6.43 is already out
