im playing final fantasy 3 on nintendo DS. one of my characters died? how do i bring him back to life?

i have yet to find the spell LIFE, and the one who died is my white mage. i cant figure out how to bring him back. and i have no more phoenix downs? please say theres hope. thanks.

You'll have to leave (try Teleport) and come back. Go to a town and fing the revival spring (there's one in almost every town, in a small one-room house), bring him/her back, then buy Phoenix Downs. Try duplicating them; that always helps.
