Actually when student dont study or if he has no confidence then he get worried about exams It is more or less depends upon the view he have towards exam as well.

i think students get nervous because there is a higher test standard score you must meet to pass,with this new no child left behind issue.

i am a student and i very well get worried/nervous. its because they are usually a big part of our grade to pass the class and we need to pass our class to get somewhere.

because they are not used to fail,children mostely boys who have failed atleast once will be relaxed before the exam.
