My motorcycle was stolen about a year ago, and i think the person sold the fairings to someone I know. Do fairings have any kind of identification # so i can get my parts back?

unless you have security marked them ,then no they wont ...

the only thing that has a number is the frame and the engine ..

always advisable to stamp other bike parts with a security kit when ever possible ..

Yes and no. Some fairing companies did have serial numbers. Vetter is one company that did. Factory fairings will probably only have a part number. They will probably have a run number that tells on what date and time it was made. Ask the dealer who sold you the bike what if any numbers were used. It's a long shot, but worth it to bust some bike stealing puke.

No. Unless you've marked them with the VIN number yourself. Only the frame and possibly the engine block will have the VIN number stamped.

Go visit him and look for your bike and get the name of the guy he supposidly bought the fairing off of.
