His 50 point games are against horrible teams. Its not like he's doing this against good defensive teams like the spurs, pistons, mavs or bulls. His 3 game win streak is against the blazers, twolves and grizzlies. I dont think the lakers would be able to beat a good team in the playoffs playing this way, he'll have to get his teammates involved.

Right now no individual person is stepping up on the defensive end to hold or slow down Kobe. There aren't too many teams out down dedicated to playing team defensive either. Also having Odom and Walton also make it real difficult to hold him and stuff.

Kobe is showing Gilbert who the true Hibatchi is.Even with a center,I don't think they can beat Dallas,Phoenix,orSan Antonio this season.A few key moves in the off season, an attitude adjustment,And some healing from Odom and Walton, next year they will be contenders.

Kobe already had a center in Shaq and he didn't like having to share the limelight. As talented as he may be, he is an absolute killer of team chemistry. I don't think he will ever win another championship unless he completely revamps his attitude.

Nobody can't stop him. He's the most complete offensive player in the NBA. Some players might make him work harder for his shoots, but still he would score. His long range shoot is amazing. Defenders have to guard him almost from mid court cuz' they known that he can score from there. There's nothing that the man can't do offensively.

No one at the moment.
Teams might try to triple team him...
But it is quite unfeasible to do so cos he has a couple of good teammates around him who can lift the team.
Lamar Odom, Luke Walton and even Bynum/Brown would be able to make greater contributions if Bryant was triple teamed.

No. Not even. Old school guys were talking about how they would've used cheap shots to stop Kobe back in the day. Lol

Define stop. If it means preventing his team from winning, then many teams have. (I loved raja bell of the phoenix suns last year in the playoffs against the Lakers). If it means stopping him physically from shooting, a lot of people can with a few punches or so (just like raja bell). If it means stopping his career, the jury (unlike raja bell)
