When shes strong enough to handle getting put down, getting her heart broken by some dumb boi and still getting back up and finding her another friend who she knows going to do right by her. Also when she can take care of her own problems in a mature way instead of going crazy on him and crying all day just laying around like its da end of the world.

I have 3 daughters, and I think it depends on the girl, her level of maturity...and the guy she's interested in dating's maturity level. What bothers me is I see so many young girls and guys getting into relationships so young that they miss out on a lot of their teen years; they sacrifice the best years of their life on one person-- a person whom they never end up marrying. There's plenty of time to be in relationships, but there's only so much time to spend being young and being free.

Over 16 and make sure the person you go out with likes you for who you are, not just to have sex and and use you. but it's o.k. to hold hands and kiss if ur a little bit younger. The right time is really when you find someone who cares about you and you feel the same way. good luck

It does not really matter. What is important is to be careful. Keep it very innocent, don't let it get serious. In your first relationship lots of people think they are in love, because they don't really know what it feels like. So just be careful and keep it innocent.
