When you were in your teens and early 20's, did you consider a party a failure if nobody got arrested or had to have a search party sent out to find them?

In fairness, I only remember one party in which we had to go find someone, he turned up (seriously) about 60 miles away in the next county.

hehehehe no if the cops showed up we all were told to stay in the house and not drink out front that way they didn't have to come back .... cops in our town had bigger problems than some kids drinking and having a party. if anyone did get arrested then they must have been yelling at the cops and got into their face .... I got away with so much at that age

When we had a party - we had a GOOD TIME, FUN, DANCING, DRINKING, PARTYING GOOD TIME!!! This was in the mid 75's - early 80's. We had fun - without the worry of someone getting shot, drivebys, all the shi# that's going on now with the youths.

No, we didn't take it that far.

It was a success if someone puked into the hydrangeas. Sometimes we didn't know how to call it until the next morning when we started counting the underwear lying around.

Ah, to be young and stupid again.

Nope. A party was a failure if it ran out of booze or there were no good looking women there!!!

If it were my party I knew that it was a failure when at least one person wasn't on the brink of alcohol poisoning.

I considered it a failure if I left standing up.

No, but it was a failure if at least one person didn't puke.
And, that hasn't really changed now at 31.

I'm 22...can I answer please?
I'd say no. A GOOD party is one where you remember nothing at all about it.
