I understand youve not gone out for movies without your parents and they are scared..

Do this:
-Amongst all your friends, you must have one or two special freinds whom your parents also like.. Ask them to talk to your parents.
-Also if these friends have gone out for movies alone (without adult presence) ask their parents to talk to your parents and convince that you are now a teenager who can take care of yourself.
-The movie that you choose should also be a good one that is watched by families

I think this should work.... It is always better to negotiate with your parents than telling lies and going out... Sometimes it is difficult, but it is always best to convince and negotiate.. it helps in the long run

enjoy the movie with your friends :)

even i have faced the exactly same situation 2years back when i was 15, completed xams & wanted to go for a movie.
in my case my friends came home to talk to my mom, she agreed on requesting because it was day-time & a theatre which is near by, coming to my father, he till now doesn't know this, as my mom suggested not to tell bcoz he would have never agreed for that, but at last i went & enjoyed a lot
I hope even u wil be able to manage, though i don't suggest u to hide this from your father, if possible ask him also
& by the way ALL THE BEST for your xams
hope u wil be convincing your parents & don't miss that enjoyement bcoz after completing the xams MOVIE doesn't matter much but the way we plan & being with friends.... .... the happiness we get... that matters a lot................

First off how old are you? If you are of an appropriate age sit Mom and Dad down and talk to them about it. Ask them to give you this chance to show them that you are responsible enough to go to the movies with a few friends. And show them that you can be responsible so that you can earn time out with friends. God bless and good luck
