Well, there is Cardcaptor Sakura (1-71 episodes I think). After you watch all the series, then watch the 2 Cardcaptor movies. If you don't know where to watch them, try youtube.com. The episodes are going to be in japanese with English Subtitles however. Hope you like it ^_^.

Fushugi Yugi..... more romance with some comical moments
Pretear... again more romance and sweet and corny
Inuyasha.. of course
Personally I feel if you like romance/comedy you should watch Rurouni Kenshin, but you should more importantly watch Samuri X which is the story of how Kenshin started and it is much more serious than the Kenshin series.

I don't know really of any true comedies, but Whisper of The Heart, by Studio Ghibli is a love story, in a sense. It's also really sweet, but somehow, isn't corny.
