Norton is a Better AV than Panda however there are viruses out there that attach them self to Norton AV (& only Norton) which then makes Norton AV useless.
Abstract answer is not true the top AV program is Nod32 the second is Kaspersky.

i think norton is much better n more distinguished than panda which is still new in the market.

Norton and McAfee are the TOP resource hogs in the area of anti-virus programs. The rest of them pale in comparison.
