The pitching excites me more than your offense.

However, there is one big issue: Josh Johnson. He is undergoing tests to determine his elbow issue, and the Marlins have all but said he needs surgery and could miss most, if not all, of the season. If I were you, I would drop him ASAP and look for one of the following SP sleepers:

Boof Bonser
Matt Garza
Daniel Cabrera
Adam Loewen
Ted Lilly (moving to the NL - his K #'s will sky-rocket)
Oliver Perez
John Maine
James Shields
Carlos Villanueva

Other than that: Your pitching is excellent, especially with big time breakout candidates: Bedard and Haren. Nice work!

I worry about the health of your lineup, and the let down factor when it comes to players like: Byrnes, Lopez, Cuddyer, and Molina - I fear they all had career years in 2006, and won't replicate.

If I were you I would consider padding your lineup, and trying to package one of the aformentioned offensive players, with one of your SP's for a more proven bat.

Last thought: David Weathers is not going to be the closer in Cincinnati. The Reds have said recently that they are leaning toward using Dustin Hermanson. Also - The Reds have a young kid they aquired last year at the deadline from Washington, a lefty named Bill Bray, that is going to be their eventual closer. If i were you i would keep a close eye on both of those guys and not rely on Weathers for many saves.

Don't buy the flattery here. You have respectable offense, with some good power and a bit of speed. You have good starting pitching, lots of solid options there. But where are you gonna find some saves? One closer? Is Salomon Torres on waivers? Also, I think Josh Johnson is out until June. Time to find a closer.

Looking at your team I must say that I am quite impressed. It is obvious to me that you must be very experienced and possess a great deal of baseball savvy. Your team is among the finest that I have seen this season and I commend you on your choices.
You have assembled a team with a great mix of speed and power, as well as a very solid pitching staff. Although there may be some injury concerns, the depth that you have built into this team is extraordinary. You appear headed to victory and a very satisfying season.
If you haven't done so, I suggest that you look into the possibility of making this more than a hobby. You certainly have some keen insights on the way a baseball team is assembled.
Good Luck

I think that you are average in power and lacking in speed. Your starting pitching is above average and your closer situation is below average. Considering you drafted out of both leagues, I feel that you could have (and should have) balanced your team. But, fantasy sports is 80% luck and 20% skill. Good luck. Anything can happen.

I'd probably be impressed if I knew who any of them were!
