Mister Rogers Neighborhood was one of my childhood staples, along with Sesame Street, Electric Company, and Captain Kangaroo. We didn't have all those newfangled cable networks to watch!
I liked Henrietta Pussycat, too. She'd meow randomly sometimes, but then sometimes use "meow" in place of a word... "I want to go there right meow!" I also liked King Friday, Lady Elaine, and Daniel Striped Tiger. I remember it being a big shock to me as a kid when I realized that Mister Rogers was voicing a bunch of the puppets. I also liked the trolley as its own little character and the way they would make it "ching ching" to answer questions.

I watched the show a lot when I was little. Henrietta was the only puppet that didn't scare me. The people were just freaky looking!

you know, Mr. Rogers neighborhood was a good children's show. I really do think that Mr. Rogers was a good guy in reality, u know, unlike the guy on Blues Clues who's probably smokin' dope when he's not working.
