Measurements and ultrasounds are not 100% accurate. Doctors use measuring as a gauge. Like someone else said, you gain all over and women carry differently. Take it as a compliment when people say you don't look that big. The doctor will get more info during the scan, probably measure the baby's parts. Even that isn't 100% accurate. After one of my scans, I was told to expect a baby close to 9 lbs. She weighed 7 lbs 11 ounces. Don't worry, things are fine. Good Luck,

This week you may be measuring big. In a few weeks, you may be measuring normal. It always changes. They said at one point that I measured almost 4 above normal, but then a month later, I was measuring normal. Rest assured, you're probably fine. Have fun looking at the US instead.

a lot of people gain weight all over; not just in their belly's when pregnant. also your baby may be small...and your extra weight may come from water and placenta. all pregnancy's are a little different.
