I need to ring a friend, but don't want to get him out of bed if it's too early. I know it's about 5 hours, but which way? Thanks.

It is 4 hours right now as the Federal Government had the clocks changed 3 weeks early in the USa this year as an energy saving method.
When British clocks change it will go back to 5 hours as usual.

hi, florida is 5 hours behind UK. So if you call after 2pm UK time, then east coast USA should be awake!

u r 5 hrs ahead of us. I know this because I lived in England myself 4 awhile, & made frequent calls home 2 Georgia.
So if it's 1am ur time it's abt 9pm Fla time.
