I have a Kukram 512Mb DDR2 533 and I'd like to boost memory by adding Geil 512Mb DDR2 533. Is this advisable?

depend on your motherboard.if your motherboard had a dual channel technology as intel chipset 865 or higher,
you can't add a different product of memory.in some case your motherbord will not booting or they send an error message when you turn on your pc.
so better you add a Kukram 512Mb DDR2 533 on your motherbaord.
or you can sell your kukram and change it with double Geil 512Mb DDR2 533
also read your motherboard user manual about how to adding memory at their slot to working perfectly.and there's also in your motherboard user manual had a compatible memory to plug in to your motherboard.

Yes you can.. As long as the ram speed is the same on both sticks.

Example.. PC-100.. PC-2300... PC-3200 etc..
