Considering that throughout the nineties, Giuliani was a staunch advocate of national gun control standards, and now states a position favoring the individual states rights to impose limits and controls on gun ownership, is it indicative of what we can expect If he were to become president?

He is out, because he will say and do anything for the moment to get elected...He's for Illegal immigration amnesty, anti-family...Wher's Tancredo? Both Democrats and Republicans are now reviwing their anti gun positions! People have been screaming and protesting the loss of their 1st, 2nd, 3r and 4th Amendment Rights. People want to keep all of their 2nd Amendment rights in tact as a free people, according to the Bill of Rights! They need to crack down on criminals, not law abiding citizens! States that have less restrictions on keeping and baring arms, tend to have less crime and that is a proven fact. Every dictatorship on the planet, first disarmed it's citizens, before they took over. There were less crimes committed before and during the sixties, than when stringent gun laws took effect. Check the statistics Read the Second Amendment it protects citizens against tyrants.

Giuliani doesn't know how he feels about anything... he is by far the worst candidate in the presidential running...

here are some of his feelings on world issues:

Iran: Doubts negotiations with Iran or Syria would work.

Global warming: Not sure how much global warming is caused by human activity. Consider expanding nuclear power as well as alternative energy.

Abortion: Supports constitutional right to abortion, but says he would appoint justices "very similar" to Samuel Alito and John Roberts, who he thinks will vote for abortion restrictions.

--doubts? not sure? hiring people to do the dirty work?? sounds like someone I want running my country...

Giuliani is conservative on some issues but hes not a conservative, hes a republican. Contrary to popular belief, there is a difference. I believe GWB is the same way. Fred Thompson on the other hand, now hes a conservative!! Jon McCain- i dont know what the hell he is, maybe a liberal in disguise?

Is there any real difference. He is still supporting gun control, idiots. He is just sanctioning it at a state level and not a national level. Additionally, try reading the second amendment and see at what level(state, federal) which we are given the right to bear arms.

It means "I will promise or state anything that will put me in the White House." Once in...well possesion is 9/10 of the law. So he will revert to pre-campaign Giuliani and you will get gun control at the federal level.

No, his change in opinion is rational. After living and working in crime-ridden NYC, he was probably overwhelmed with gun crimes. He cleaned up the city and improved crime. It wasn't ALL about the guns and I think he realized this. It probably opened up his mind to listen to firearm proponents.

Not for a second and in fact I would have respected the weasel more had he stood firm and just admitted
" I'm a sissy and I hate guns"

No, he's still a lib in wolf's clothing. I still don't think he'll get the GOP nomination. Wait until the leaks start about his personal transgressions...(Typical smear tactics...)
