I want to know all the political parties besides Democrat and Republican. It would be great if you could give me an unbiased web site that explains each party (a web site for the common person). Thanks in advance, your answers are much appreciated.

There are a lot of political parties, but not all of them hold the issues that the two major parties do. The third biggest are the Libertarians(which I'm part of). They also branch off into different groups just like the Republicans and the Democrats, but personally I don't believe they are either leftest or rightest. Many times the LP will never admit to being either but we get more crap from the Democrats then the Republicans.

There is also the Green party. They are a big enviornmentalist group. They are the fourth biggest of the parties but the difference between Greens and Libertarians is that the Greens actually vote for their party. Many people who claim to be libertarian never seem to vote because of their fear of the Democratic party. To me there isn't a difference between the two. But many of the issues that the Greens deal with are enviornmental issues.

You also have many very small political parties like the Socialist party, communist party, American first party, way too many that I can type.

P.S.- No one will ever be able to name ALL the political parties, new parties raise so much that you are better off counting the stars.

The Green Party. They're the liberals. You know how there's always three people running for president? However a member of the green party has never been elected. Ross parrot, for example was a Green Party candidate. And so was Nader.

Libertarian, Green, Communist, Socialist, you name it, there's a party for it. It cracks me up that you can actually write in a candidates' name as well. Willie Nelson probably gets more votes than the Communist party candidate. LOL
