I agree with does it really matter???

Of course there are gays in every professional sports (I know of a few who are not out...).

Amche was only one of the few brave enough to come out and only after retiring from the game due to the homophobes like Penny Hardaway...

Hopefully there will be a time when people don't care, just like when African Americans were allowed to play and not be thought of in a negative way.

It wasn't long ago that colleges like UK (all white) had problems with playing a predominately black team like UTEP - Oh bad example as UK still has problems with having a Black Coach (this will piss a few people off).

Yes not all UK fans are blatantly racist, just like not all players are homophobes, but enough are that can affect people who have to deal with the prejudices.

The rumor is that it is Richard Jefferson. I believe it, he just comes off as gay.
