It won't be a lack of corruption in government that's for sure. The only message that they will put out is how bad Hillary is, calling her names and assassinating her character. .

Frankly neither party has offered up much I am excited about relative to the general safety , financial security , physical health/wellness , & education of our great nation.
I'm a fairly liberal , lifelong , Democrat w decades of grassroots political involvement w "MY" party. Regrettably the party I have worked so hard for has been MIA for many years.
For example, it mystifies me why so many folks on both "sides" politically keep making like abortion is a "priority issue" in this country!! I happen to be pro choice & have escorted women into Dr's offices , protecting them from abuse of all sorts directed at them by those calling them murderers , & worse. But why do so many use this as a political litmus test? Abortion happens to be LEGAL, it has been for over 30 years. The Supreme Court has upheld that opinion, even when the majority of the Justices were clear about their personal desire to end abortion.
We do have bigger, more critical issues !! Our young people are leaving high school w less practical knowledge than ever before in the post WW2 era..
The immigration situation must be addressed & resolved in a concise , practical manner.
Is gay marriage a top 5 issue for this country? Not for most people in this country.....personally I don't care about this . If two people love each other & want to have that union recognized by a piece of paper,,,GREAT !! Let's move on , God Bless em, & hopefully they'll have more success w their life partner than most heterosexuals do!!
Fred Thompson is REAL...or seems that way by my exposure to him. I want a President committed to ACTION , not rhetoric & political retribution.....Will that be a Republican?? You tell me! I sure don't know yet, but I know politics well enough to know the Dems have NO slam dunk here!

Dems should be careful, According to the Washington Post it was the Moderate to Conservative Democrats that gave them the victory. Now with Palosi caving and loosing control to the fringe left's they have hit a 64% disapproval rating for congress, the party is fracturing, so to call the election to the left in 08 is a dangerous position for it is there's to lose. Why do you think they are nervous about Outsider Republicans like Fred Thompson entering the race.

There are still many racist and sexist people in our country. And even people who dont share these feelings openly feel this way to some extent. I truly believe that we will win simply because your two options for candidates are Obama, and Clinton. Obama wont make it because, sadly enough he is black. It is ashame our country hasnt grown out fo that. And HIllary wont make it due to the fact she is a woman. And if she does; it wont be good at all. The muslims dont respect women...they will respect us even less with one as our leader.

If the Republican party were so full of adultery and poor family values, and we were causing bigger government as you say, then we should start to pick up votes from Democrats.
