love is a strong feeling that you feel for someone as we all know! ..but in my opinion i think that love is wanting someone to be happy even if it causes you deep pain! even though love is selfish and most of us love someone who doesnt love us and the person who loves us we dont love its all a circle of pain haha sorry but it is like that! although some to find someone we love to love us

to me..love is a feeling to want to be together with someone and do stuffs together. love is wanting to understand each other, to want to make someone u love happy.
sometimes u will do stupid things like making he/she angry just for him/her to notice u or talk to u.
u will wish that the person is someone whom u totally trust can can talk to him/her about anything under the world.
u will want him/her to understand u n not misunderstood u.even when everyone says ur a liar, u will want that person to believe in u without a doubt.
u will think of the person and think about times when ur together with him/her.be it sad,angry,happy,foolish,silly,excited, u will treasure every moment with that person.
if he/she is feeling down or unwell, u will want to do almost anything to make him/her feel better or get well.
time flies when ur with him/her.
promises u made with him/her u'll treasure alot.
i agree with u that love is pain sometimes but in my own opinion i guess love is not only about pain. when u love someone,even if it causes u great pain, u won't regret it. because the reason that u fall in love with that someone is far greater than the pain u gain right? if not u won't go to that extend of getting hurt as well. and to know that u are able to cheer up the person u love and is able to be with him, the process of doing so is satisfying as well right? even if he/she doesn't love u, as long as u love him n doesn't regret, isn't it worthwhile just to see him/her smile for the things u have done for that person?
love is mysterious as no one know when and where it began. but one thing i know is that if u fall in love with someone, u know u do, give it your best shot. if he/she loves u as well, god bless u !! if not, im sure the process of chasing him/her and telling him/her how u feel towards him/her, making him/her smile, time u spend with him/her, things u do with him/her, its enough for u isn't it? isn't that what being in love is all about?
well, that's just my own opinion. it really depends on which point of view ur looking at really :P
for me, im really into "fantasy love" .. even though they hardly ever exist anymore in this world but i believe in it even more.
it's stupid i know,but it's hope and miracles that make the world go round isn't it? :)
never give up on love just because of the pain u got from it.

Love is when you would do anything to make a person happy. Yes it does cause pain but that's the only sacrifice! Love is when you want to be with someone for the rest of your life and share everything you do with them. Love is wanting to tell the world every day that you love this person and want to show them off. Love is when you will die for the one you love. Love is selfish because you don't want to share this person with anyone that may take them away from you. Love is when you don't care how ugly they are in the morning, you'll still see the beauty within. Love is when you want to protect this person and you feel protected and safe when you are with them. I love my children more than I love anybody in this world because they make me laugh with every new thing they do or when I realise they understand more than I thought they would. Love is a feeling that will cause you great pain when this person tells you they hate you and you are a bad mummy for not buying them something!!

When it happen to you (love) you will know. I don't think that there is a clear definition of the word as an emotion. People feel love in various different ways from people being in love and married for 50 years, to those who commit crimes of passion. All different types of love, not necessarily good or bad.

love is what you make it.
love to me is being happy, being able to trust, care and sit in total silence with someone with there being an atmosphere. This is my way at looking at love for most people i care about. especially my friends. family its unconditional and partner the same as both friends/family.
