He has expressed a value for all life, yet he signed the most death warrants as TX governor.
He came back from his vacation to sign that travesty of a bill, the Terri Schiavo bill, yet he feels it is best to not fund stem cell research ( which uses fetus and frozen embryos that were going to be destroyed anyway) which would help preserve life.
In addition, he might still remember some things he might have learned at Grandpa Bush's knee, his belief in Eugenics.
Only he knows, the mixed messages give people whiplash

You remember Terry Shivo ? He called Congress back in session to pass legislation to stop life support from being removed. Thats all you need to know.

I have heard him state that he respects the value of all life. I only assume that would cover the sick and aged also.
