is it me or the actor playing Lucky (night janitor, season 2) is also playing tim foyle in season3? if yes is it a coincidence?

I don't think it's a "coincidence" but I think the cast and crew already knew the actor and enjoyed working with him. It was easier to put a wig on him than audition actors for a character that would only be in a few episodes.

But I also don't think it has any deeper meaning. I don't think were going to find out Tim and Lucky were separated at birth or anything. I think it was just convenient for the production to reuse the actor and hope the audience doesn't notice.

yes, it is the same actor. as a viewer, you are supposed to just accept that they are two different people. there are tons of shows especially shows on the CW that use actors multiple times on the same show in different roles. most of the time they are seasons apart. for example, in buffy the vampire slayer the vampire they let loose in the house with her when they drugged her is the same actor who played the witch doctor guy in the later seasons. there are tons of examples like this, don't let them fool you. good eye!
