This is the first year I've really been interested in it(I'm more into football) so I'd be interested in how it compares to previous years. Thanks

It's impossible to say as it hasn't finished yet. In my estimation, it is not the best tournament. The 1st round games lacked drama for the most part. And while the 2nd round had a few great games, there were several yawners again.

Another notable thing about this Tournament is the lack of many upsets. While upsets are always sexy, the advancement of the higher seeds thus far should make for some great games down the stretch. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

I honestly think it depends on your team and how well they do each year. Quite frankly last years NCAA Tourney was awful....Ok That may be because KU forgot how to play last year. Now this year is another story but I wont toot the Jayhawks horn as that was not your question.
Last year was the year for the mid majors and cinderella teams everywhere. Everyone knows how George Mason and Wichita State surprised the nation with the runs they had in the tourney.

This year, the selection commity did one hell of a job with team match ups, probably one of the best jobs I have ever seen for selections and most of the games have been hair raising nail bitters because of it.
The teams reaching the elite eight will each have had to fight and scratch for that honor.
What a wonder time of the year!

Not really. They left out some good teams that could have upset some of these favorites. You've got all the favorites still in it with very few if any upsets. Makes it too predicatable and boring.

no its a lot more boring not nearly as many close games and way less exciting upsets (just two - Winthrop/Notre Dame and VCU/Duke - in round 1). it's heating up though.
