Oh I am jealous! You can feed them occasionally by putting a layer of organic material on them. Black Cow Manure (which is processed so it doesn't have smell), leaves from your yard, coffee grinds (which can make the soil acidic), and of course, compost!
We just spread that stuff out evenly over the garden. The only problem I can think of is if you have a lot of earthworms, you might start having moles running under your yard.

Earthworms are very beneficial to the garden. They aerate the soil as well as feed on decaying matter in the soil. Keep in mind that chemicals are toxic to earthworms, so use them sparingly.

Earthworms in your garden only enhances your soil which in the long run make the soil more richer.

They are good for the soil! They bring air into the soil and that helps roots remain healthy and also helps to keep the soil healthy. They don't harm any plants and they do keep soil soft so the plant roots can grow uninhibited. If they die or lose part of themselves (like get cut in half ) cause they can survive losing half their bodies, they are a great source of protein for the roots of your plants. Like the other response they are a great source of bait for fishing.(lol)

yes it is definitely a good thing becoz earthworm increase the fertility of soil....
and it will make more plants to grow in rapid manner

Its very good earthworms produce one of the best fertilizers, and they dont harm plants!

It is a good thing. Worms are good for aeration of the soil and provide a great organic base for the soil.

itz very good sign that u have earth worms. it means that the fertility of the soil is very good. maintain that. even by mistake also don't spray chemicals. to u r garden.

My dad always told me that earthworms are good, thats why they are called EARTHworms. So, I believe him. :)
