Never heard of a remodeled engine. I have rebuild an engine before. Rebuilt will use an existing block and new parts inside the block. with some reconditioning of the block for a better seal of the new parts. Don't know how you would remodel an engine though. When you rebuild an engine you are making it as if it where new. the only parts of it that are used would be (most often) the crankshaft, connecting rods, Block, Bearing caps. Thats about it.

I have never heard of remodled. But Remanufactured Is not new. A new engine is Rare and very costly. Most engines have been built from a used block or even repaired from a used engine. Whatever the case get the best warranty they offer.

Jo Blo is right. Neither is going to be new. Only way to get a new engine is to buy a brand new one or build one from scratch with all new parts.
