She'll be 26 next week. She's not into music, films, or arty things. I can't buy her clothes because she's really fussy. So what do you suggest?

I'm taking her for lunch today, my treat, but still need to get her a present. I also bought her a present recently from Mexico where I was on holiday - but she still expects something. Actually I don't even think she gave me anything for my birthday last year. Should I just not bother?

Depends on what your budget is, but here are some ideas:
Low budget:
Smellies, girls can never have enough!
Medium budget:
Make her a photo book, I did this for my whole family (one each) for Xmas and I have never had such a good response!) Take her out for a meal
Take her to the theatre/or buy a theatre voucher
Buy her a funky canvas painting or print.
A engraved locket.
High budget:
A weekend away.

Take her out for the day, as she's not in music...and is quite fussy there can be nothing better than taking out and have fun choose the places which she likes best and give her a treat of her favourite dish

anything related to something she en joy's doing. reading photography.
maybe vouchers for a shop she likes and a small token present to open.
or nice cosmetics or toiletries in a fragrance she likes.
i had this problem with my sister but she was pregnant on her birthday so i was even more limited.
good luck, I'm sure she will appreciate the though put into buying a gift.

How about taking her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant, or getting her a gift card to her favorite store, or spending a day together at the spa?
