I buy ahead so that I never run out of things needed around the house. I always store these things at room temp in a dry place , I've been doing this for years and have never had a problem till recently. It seems that a good amount of the time I go to get a product out and all the propellant has disappeared leaving me with a can of stuff I can't use. This happens to multiple products....and it's driving me crazy...is their a way to "fix" them again so they are usable or should I just start saving my store receipts ?

That happens more often with 'generic label' products . But even the 'name-brand' products can do that occasionally . I would call the 800 number on the can and they'll happily send you coupons for free products to soften the blow !! Do this a few times and you'll see that they are more than happy to accommodate you !!!!

I agree. It's because the environmentally friendly alternatives are not always as aftective (with some products) as what we were used to.

With WD-40 spray, I drain it into a container. But other products aren't useful if not atomized by the aerosol action. Saving receipts might be an option, but I doubt the store will be in a position to remedy. But the receipt will validate your purchase when you take your issue to the maker of the "AD" (Aerosol Dysfunction) product!

Not that I would suggest a Mass-mailing campaign. But I had a product go bad on me? I wrote, (back when there was hard Copies) a Letter to the Manufacturer. Told them the Production Codes that was defective? And they sent me a coupon for a replacement. With all kinds of apologize attached. That showed some Class.

Maybe run some warm water on the nozzle it could be dried up a little or use a pin to also unclog it. Is this the Earth's way of saying "Save our planet" I try to buy the non aerosol items I can
since they are easier to use and if the pump stops working I can put in a new plastic spray bottle and of course label it.
