I think it's not miserable to be married to someone who is "so" serious. It's just that everything has a right time. There's a right time to joke on somebody or something but definitely not always. (:

well it depends on the joke n the timing too...
if u joked bout something the other person is insecure about...then u should certainly not make fun of it..
also, ppl can take jokes when its only u n them...not in public or in front of their frnds
u got to take these things in consideration while crackin a joke on someone...

yes, marriage does take away a person's humor..
especially if you marry a person who came from another country and try to use American humor and most of the time the "newbie" Americano does not have a clue as they do not understand the American slang?
my husband gets mad when he tells me a joke..and expects me to get the punch line..the he just says "ah you don't have a sense of Humor..that was a funny joke"...sorry...if it don't make sense to me.." why did the moron throw his alarm clock out the window?" ..i answered..."because it was defective?:"...he got mad and told me a few bad things and stomped off...
